Subtitling "Covington Cross"

DVD
Once you have saved your subtitles and solved any translational problems, you may want to create a DVD with them.
The simpler way of doing this is to merge the subtitle file and the movie using a program like VirtualDub. This has, however, one big disadvantage:
You may not always want to watch your film with subtitles. Merging them with the movie makes them unremovable, and makes it impossible to have subtitles in more than one language on the finished DVD.

Creating a DVD with subtitles in more than one language, or simply making sure that you will be able to switch off the subtitles if you do not need them, is a bit more complicated.
