Conference Venue
The Conference was organized by the Chinese Department of the University of Mainz and was held in Germersheim, a small town at the famous Rhine river which is situated 100 km south of Mainz and Frankfurt and 40 km from Heidelberg in the vine-growing Southern Palatinate region close to the French border, at Europes biggest academic institution for translation and interpretation studies, the School of Applied Linguistics and Cultural Studies (Fachbereich Angewandte Sprach- und Kulturwissenschaften [FASK]).
