Call for Proposals
Call for Proposals for Thematic Sessions
The congress will be organised around a series of thematic sessions or panels. Each thematic session should include at least three speakers and will be presented and conducted by a session moderator (or two co-moderators). Each session should be dedicated to a clearly defined topic related to the general topic of the conference and structured around a pre-determined set of questions, formulated by the session moderator. The moderator will be responsible for specific publicity concerning the session, inviting papers, selecting presenters, and proposing the list of selected presenters and abstracts for approval by the Scientific Committee. To submit a panel proposal, the moderator does not have to be a member of the EST.
If you would like to moderate or co-moderate a specific thematic session, please submit a short description of the proposed session, indicating the theme and some possible speakers. The proposal should be of at least 500 words with 5 keywords.
PROPOSALS SHOULD BE ENTERED HERE
A Call for Papers for the individual sessions will be launched by the EST Congress Organisers after notification of acceptance, and moderators are free to publicise their session after that general launch.
The main conference languages will be English and German. We will try to provide an interpreting service for languages other than English and German for one or two of the conference sessions. All abstracts should be submitted in English or German, and this also applies for papers to be delivered in other languages (in this case, please indicate your specific language). Please note that due to practical reasons we will only be able to accept a small number of presentations in other languages.
