Call for papers
We invite all T&I researchers who are interested in our key themes to take part in the Sixth International Symposium on Teaching Translation and Interpreting.
The conference languages will be English and German. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided for all plenary lectures and, if possible, for a number of short papers.
The formats for active participation are:
- short paper (20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes discussion)
- round table (discussion group with 4–5 participants, no paper presentations, 60–90 minutes)
You can also opt for "passive" participation, i.e. attendance without giving a paper or taking part in a round table.
In order to attend the symposium as an active or passive participant, please fill in the appropriate registration form. The deadline for active participation is 15 March 2015, and for passive participation, 15 September 2015.
Irrespective of the type of participation you choose, please remember to pay the conference fee by 15 September 2015.
If you wish to participate actively, please make it clear in your abstract how your paper or round table relates to the panel for which you are proposing it.
Active participants will be contacted by the end of April 2015 (end of February for early-bird registrations) to confirm whether their abstract has been accepted. All abstracts will be peer reviewed.
